Art works displayed on this site involve oil painting, watercolor, pastel and multimedia including digital and video. He has exhibited his works in New York (City), New Jersey, Texas (Dallas) and California and studied with Jules Olitski and Gillian Jagger. He taught painting at Trumbull College at Yale University.
Music compositions, primarily for piano, involve classical, jazz and popular music motifs. He studied with Stefan Wolpe, Robert Rodriguez and Jo Boatright and played in clubs in New York City and Long Island. He has performed his classical music 9/11 Piano Dedication work, which he composed after returning from New York that tragic day, in 9/11 dedication events and performed multiple compositions at gala events. Scientific work involved receiving a PhD in molecular genetic from Rutgers University followed by a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Yale School of Medicine. He was on the faculty of University of Texas Southwestern Medical School followed by Chairman of Department of Molecular Genetics at the Wadley Cancer Center. His specialty is epigenetics, regulation of gene expression, which controls most of the functions of living organisms. His work involved gene studies in simple organisms like bacteria and yeast and in human normal cells and diseased cells as well as in cultured human beating heart cells. Martial Arts activities involve receiving a 4th degree black belt in Okinawa Karate, Shorin Ryu, Shi Do Kan, which he taught for 12 years.
Business activities involve being a cofounder of six biotechnology companies and serving as Chairman, President and CEO. The companies focused on prevention and treatment of cancer, infectious diseases and Alzheimer's Disease. Details and links to these companies are available on this site
